The Gardens at Ferrari-Carano

In the Dry Creek Valley there is a wine country attraction not to be missed. It is the gorgeous garden setting at Ferrari-Carano Vineyards & Winery. Each season of the year brings a fresh set of blooming plants with fantastic colors to the Ferrari-Carano gardens. The highlight of the garden season at Ferrari-Carano is when the tulip and daffodils bloom in the late winter or early spring. There are over 10,000 planted, attracting many tulip and wine lovers to the winery. The gardens represent five acres at the Ferrari-Carano property.  Our favorite at Ferrari-Carano is a gated garden just off the entrance path. It is a peaceful garden and a great place to sit and relax for a few minutes. Once inside this garden, follow the path to the top of the garden and exit at the upper gate.  At the tasting room, the surrounding gardens offer spectacular views both outside and inside. The Ferrari-Carano tasting room is one of the most popular attractions on Dry Creek Road. Besides the gardens, the tasting room has a boutique merchandise shop and an attractive barrel room, where the winery stages special wine and food pairings.  Ferrari-Carano is one of the last wineries on Dry Creek Road as you drive west from the Dry Creek Exit on Highway 101 in Healdsburg. It is worth the effort to trek the nine miles to this winery.  The Ferrari-Carano Vineyards & Winery tasting room is open daily from 10am to 5 pm. Guided tours are offered by appointment.
