The electric car era is upon us. This is a partial list of wineries with EV Charging Stations. There are thousands of wineries in California but only a handful have an electric car charging station. Electric car use in the greater San Francisco Bay Area is rapidly increasing. Next year it is predicted that there will be 20 auto manufacturers producing an all-electric car. President Obama has a goal of one million electric cars on the road by 2015. Most electric cars can travel 100 miles on average before needing a charge up. It you have an electric car and are planning a trip to the wine country, you will certainly need to know where to charge your car. What better way to make use of your time than to taste wine while your car charges?
