We have been traveling to the Napa Valley for 40 years. We love to drive there on the spur of the moment for a day trip or an overnight stay. It is always fun to visit the newest restaurant in the Valley. The Napa Valley restaurants on these pages are ones that we have tried and can recommend. Restaurants in Napa
We like to lodge in the downtown area of the town of Napa near all the shops, tasting rooms, and especially the plentiful upscale Napa restaurants. This way we are able to walk to dinner and not worry about having wine with dinner and then driving. If you stay outside of the town of Napa, there are three taxicab companies that can drive you to a Napa restaurant and back to your hotel

Featured Napa Restaurant - Angele Restaurant
Angele is an alluring restaurant overlooking the Napa River at the very end of Main Street. The restaurant, with a full bar, is stylish and looks and feels like a place where folks just like to hang out and have a casual but elegant experience. It is the only restaurant in Napa with a French cuisine focus. We have dined here on several occasions and have never been disappointed. There is a special cocktail menu with some delightful creations all priced at $11. Angele has a very good wine list and one very weighted with Napa Valley wines. Corkage fee is $20. The atmosphere is a lot of fun at Angele. The restaurant is alive with people having a wonderful time.
