What you need to know to hire a driver, limo, bus, van to wine country
Many companies offer limousine, van, minibus, and bus service to the Napa Valley, Sonoma, Mendocino, and other California wine regions.
We no longer list these individual companies because of ongoing and rapid changes in the industry. For example, COVID and the advent of ride-sharing services, Lyft and Uber, have changed the landscape of hiring a limo or van to tour the wine country. In addition, there are other new services like Dryver, and We Drive that offer creative ways to tour the Napa Valley and other wine regions. Remember the old stretch limousines? Those are giving way to luxurious buses like the Mercedes Sprinter.
Your Trip or Their Trip
If you hire a driving service or driver, you have two choices. First, let them suggest wineries to visit and follow their itinerary. Or, better yet, do your homework. Choose wineries to visit from our many Wine Trails. Then, book your tasting and have your driver take you there.
