Day One Visiting Organic Wineries in Dry Creek Valley:
Quivira Vineyards
At Quivira Vineyards you will find a garden of 120 vegetable
beds and 40 acres of vineyards all farmed biodynamically. The winery also has
a set of solar energy panels that supply all the electricity to run the winery.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at Quivira and taste some delicious wines. Our favorites:
The Sauvignon Blanc 2007 Barrel Complete and the 2005 Wine Creek Zinfandel.

Michel-Schlumberger
Michel-Schlumberger features delicious Bordeaux style wines,
particularly a wonderful handcrafted Cabernet Sauvignon from their estate Dry
Creek organically farmed vineyards. This is a beautiful winery located on Wine
Creek Road. Schedule a vineyard walk and tour and you will be delighted.
Tasting Room is open by appointment only, 800-447-3060
Montemaggiore
Montemaggiore is a small 1000-case-production winery run by husband
and wife team Vince and Lisa Ciolino. Vince does the farming while Lisa is
the winemaker. Montemaggiore specializes in Syrah, making three different styles.
These are absolutely amazing wines and often sell out. All the wines come from
their estate biodynamically-farmed vineyards. The winery is located back
in the western hills of the Dry Creek Valley.
Open by appointment only; we highly suggest you visit this fantastic winery.

room to be very cozy and appealing. They also have a beautiful picnic area
and Bocce courts.
